Annual Report 2022

The International Council of Nurses has published its 2022 ICN Annual Report, detailing ICN’s activities in the post-pandemic period to rebuild and strengthen health systems and ensure that government invest in nurses and respect their rights. The Annual Report reflects the deep commitment of ICN to advancing the nursing profession and advocating for health in all policies.

Available in English, French and Spanish, the 2022 Annual Report takes the reader on a journey through the year, highlighting ICN’s work with the World Health Organization, the United Nations and other international organisations; underscoring our activities to advocate for patient safety, pandemic preparedness, mental health, gender equity and other topical issues; and promoting the success of our leadership programmes and other projects.
