Since its first Congress in 1901, the ICN Congress has served as a forum for an exchange of knowledge, fostering collaborative learning about health and health care, and delving into the nuanced strategies employed by nurses in navigating and redressing the multifaceted social determinants of health. In 2025 the Congress will underscore the formidable influence wielded by nurses in shaping the landscape of health care delivery; and emphasizes their profound capacity to improve lives across diverse health care settings, enhance accessibility to health care services, and significantly influence health policies across all levels of governance. Central to this discourse is the goal of achieving Universal Health Coverage and propelling the global health policy agenda forward.
Organized in collaboration with the Finnish Nurses Association (FNA), this will be ICN’s 30th Congress, and 100 years since the FNA was founded and the ICN Congress was last held in Finland!
Further information on how to submit an abstract can be found on the Congress website.
