Nursing students
ICN values the contribution of nursing students at all levels of training. ICN defines a nursing student as undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate nursing students.
ICN has a Nursing Student Steering Group working to increase active nursing student and early career nurse representation and engagement within ICN in order to enhance the nursing student and youth influence in the organisational decision-making processes and in global health and nursing policy dialogue.
Biennially, ICN hosts a Student Assembly hosted by the same national nursing’ association as the ICN Congress. The Assembly is designed to provide a forum for nursing students and those in the early stages of their careers to have a voice and to contribute and influence the future of nursing through ICN.
