Agustina Soto Acebal joined ICN in May 2023. Her role is to provide vital support to the Nursing & Health Policy team as it works towards its goal of improving global health through the advancement of nursing practice and policy. Agustina is a versatile professional whose career has spanned various roles and continents. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina her career commenced in customer service, where she excelled and progressed to management roles, overseeing call centre operations in the insurance, banking and telecommunications sectors. Not limited by geographical borders, Agustina ventured to Malawi, Africa, serving as a Project Manager for the African Conservation Trust and expanding her global perspective. Currently residing in France, she contributed her expertise to Public Service International (PSI) as a Liaison Secretary and Policy Administrative Assistant, facilitating communication with affiliates, membership administration, and organizing regional meetings and conferences. Her multilingual proficiency in Spanish, English, and intermediate French, combined with her educational background, underscores her adaptability and competence. Agustina's journey reflects a life dedicated to versatile contributions across diverse domains.
