2) Strategic Vision: My track record in long-term planning and priority setting will drive ICN forward, ensuring we remain at the forefront of shaping policy.

If elected, my priorities will include:

- Strengthening ICN's partnerships with WHO, UN agencies, and other international bodies elevating nursing's role in achieving global health goals and amplifying our voice in regional forums.

- Promoting evidence-based practice and research to drive improvements in patient care and health outcomes.

- Leveraging technology and innovation to enhance ICN's global reach and support for member associations.

- Championing investment in nursing education and leadership development, particularly in underserved regions.

- Advancing initiatives to address the global nursing shortage and promote fair, safe working conditions for nurses worldwide.

As ICN President, I commit to leading with integrity, transparency, and an unwavering dedication to our shared values. I will work tirelessly to unite our global nursing community, amplify our collective voice, and advance our profession's crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare.

In recent years Presidential leadership of ICN has been dominated by a small number of high-income countries. It is 100 years since China has held this prestigious position and even then, it was an American Missionary Nurse who was elected. This time when we return to Helsinki after a century has passed, greater diversity is needed.

Together, we can elevate nursing to unprecedented heights of influence and impact. I humbly ask for your support and vote as we embark on this exciting journey to transform global health through nursing leadership.
