Finnish Nurses Association (FNA) is a professional association for all nurses (referring to Registered Nurses, RNs) as well as nursing students and retired nurses. The main tasks of FNA are to develop nursing practice, to provide professional support, to promote the position of nurses, and to make the value of nurses’ work visible. Active advocacy for our members and nursing on regional, national, and international level is at the core of our daily work.
Our vision is that nurses thrive and excel in their profession, and our mission is that we support nurses in developing their professional skills and well-being at work. Our values are nurse-centredness, ethics and courage.
