Nursing Association of Nepal (NAN)
Introduction:
Nursing Association of Nepal (NAN) was established in 15th Magh 2018 B.S. (1962 AD). Initially it was registered as Trained Nurses Association of Nepal (TNAN). It is only the professional organization of the nurses in Nepal. Nursing Association is a non-profitable, non-political and non-influenced by class, creed, race and religion. NAN has became a member of International Council of Nurses (ICN) Geneva in 1969 A.D
NAN is determined to provide quality nursing service to the people of Nepal by protecting nurses professional right . In order to protect and promote the professional right and interest of all nurses.
Misson:
Nursing Association of Nepal is committed to unite all nursing professionals under one roof.
Provide continues support for the professional growth and development.
Provide quality Nursing service to the public.
Objectives:
To advocate the scope of nursing, quality assurance of nursing care, professional right, security and development.
To protect, promote and develop professional ethics and code of conduct.
To raise nurse’s voice for professional right and welfare.
To develop and maintain right and interest of all nurses.
