Education and training
Education and training opportunities for nurses ensure that they have the most up-to-date, relevant knowledge and skills to provide quality care for their patients. ICN provides these opportunities to nurses in order to transform healthcare and health systems and improve patient outcomes.
ICN offers educational e-learning modules free of charge to our members, nurses and health professionals around the world. These modules were developed by ICN through funding from the World Health Organization and are available in English, French and Spanish.
WHO’s QualityRights initiative aims to improve the quality of care in mental health and related services and to promote the rights of people with psychosocial, intellectual and cognitive disabilities.
ICN has partnered with the World Continuing Education Alliance (WCEA) to launch a new online platform and mobile app for continuing professional development training resources in Leadership, Management, Advocacy, Teamwork as well as free COVID-19 resources.
